Selected By The Salty Breeze Jamaican Rum (WP) 2008 14 Years Old comes from Worthy Park Distillery in Jamaica and shows a classic Jamaican funky profile, distilled in 2008 and aged for 14 years. It delivers layers of tropical fruit, esters, spice and oak, with a bold and powerful palate that appeals to lovers of intense Jamaican rum.

Vinification & Style
Distilled in 2008 at Worthy Park, molasses-based and pot still in style, retaining the high-ester signature of Jamaican rum.
Long maturation first in the tropics, then continued in continental aging, giving the rum more roundness and better oak integration while keeping its funky identity.
“WP” stands for Worthy Park, one of Jamaica’s most distinctive rum producers, known for fruit, spice and unmistakable funk.

Tasting Notes
Color: Deep amber to mahogany with a golden-copper rim.
Aroma: Pineapple, banana, ripe tropical fruit, vanilla, toffee, baking spices, with ester lift, a touch of glue and oak.
Palate: Full-bodied, showing ripe fruit, molasses, citrus peel, spice and wood, with a long dry finish and classic Jamaican funk plus a subtle saline note.
