Suntory Roku Gin Noryo Tea Edition is a limited-edition Japanese craft gin created by Suntory, inspired by the traditional Japanese culture of "Nōryō" (cooling off).

🍃 Core Concept and Flavor Characteristics

"Nōryō" represents the Japanese philosophy of seeking coolness and comfort in the summer heat by the water or on a riverbed.

While the original Roku Gin uses six Japanese plants representing the four seasons, this Noryo Tea Edition focuses on enhancing the core ingredients for summer—Japanese Sencha and precious Gyokuro green tea—to elevate the aroma and umami to their peak.

Herbal Ingredients: Retains six signature Japanese herbs (sencha, gyokuro, cherry blossom, cherry leaf, yuzu peel, and sansho) and traditional spices such as juniper berries, significantly increasing the proportion of sencha and premium gyokuro.

Nose: The aroma is a refreshing blend of sencha and fresh green leaves, like a summer breeze rustling through a tea garden; the base notes intertwine with delicate cherry blossom, yuzu, and citrus, along with a gentle juniper berry fragrance.

Palate: Silky and sweet on the palate, the gyokuro green tea offers a unique and profound umami flavor, perfectly complementing the refreshing herbal taste of sencha. The mid-palate reveals yuzu and soft floral notes, creating a rich and balanced flavor profile.

Finish: A long, dry finish with the lingering sweetness of green tea, the fragrance of yuzu, and a subtle, warming spiciness from Japanese sansho, resulting in an overall cool and refreshing experience.
