Blackadder Raw Cask Glen Esk 1983 30yo, from a ghost distillery that closed in 1985, single cask strength 54.4%, matured with refill sherry butt. Vanilla, tea, and dried fruit; on the palate, sweet malt, raisins, mint, and mandarin orange; dry and long finish. A rare old Highland, perfect for collecting and savoring slowly.

Aroma: Hay, herbs, tea, dried fruit, and tropical fruit sweetness, with mineral and waxy notes.

Palmistry: Medium to light, malty sweetness, raisins, young mint, spices, honey syrup, tropical fruit, and orange peel sweetness; balanced structure without dryness.

Finish: Dry and spicy, with oak tannins and herbal sweetness; elegant length.
