Douglas Laing's Provenance Bowmore 2015 9 Years Old Refill Barrel


This 2015 Bowmore has a rather interesting name — "Night Isle Bugs"! The name comes from the four bars that selected this cask: Night Flower Picker in Hualien, Wei Lao in Yilan, He Yu in Hualien, and Bar Bugs in Taitung. Besides commemorating this poetic encounter that spans across latitudes and longitudes, it also expresses their shared love and appreciation for the eastern region


Tasting Notes:
Nose: Cocoa powder with subtle floral notes, gentle smoke, sea breeze saltiness and minerality, wrapped with hints of mango peel aroma.
Palate: Damp and coastal, with faint ashiness; spicy notes; mid-to-late stage shows sweet fruitiness intertwined with layers of dark chocolate flavors.
Finish: Long and lingering finish reminiscent of ocean waves echoing, leaving a lasting impression both in the mouth and in memory.
