Cooper's Choice Ardmore 14 Years Single Malt Whisky 2003/2018

Ardmore Winery was founded by William Teacher's & Sons in Kennethmont in 1898. The winery is located in the Highland area to the east of the Speyside area. There are eight stills with an annual output of 3 million liters. Before April 2001, the stills were heated by carbon fires. The peat coal was all mined in Peterhead, which is equivalent to the place near the sea in the east of Scotland. The peat production is Nearly three times the amount without peat, the peat degree is about 10~15ppm, which is close to moderate peat. The distillery is owned by the Suntory Group, and most of it is provided to Teachers and Ballantines as the base wine. Except for the original Ardmore Traditional Cask in the market, the distillery usually focuses on its bottling whiskey. Ardmore's single malt whiskey is impressive with its unique smoky and round body, and it has the title of "Highland Cream", which is a sweet, fragrant single malt whiskey whisky.

Port is a fortified wine from Portugal that is rich, sweet and full-bodied, with a higher alcohol content than unfortified wines. This is because before all the sugar is converted into alcohol, distilled grape spirits are added to stop the fermentation of alcohol, and the sweetness and mellowness of Port wine stay at the most delicious moment. Port wine is usually paired with dark chocolate after meals. Enjoyed as a dessert wine, some gourmets now drink it with a meal, and it is also very suitable for cheese and Chinese meals. Port casks often add fresh fruit aromas and flavors to whisky.

Palate：Juicy sweet malt and peat smoke. Mouthwatering interplay of peat and fruit. More spice.

Finish：Long and warming. The smoke and fruit remain.
