Omar Lychee Barrel Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky 2021

Using barley malt imported from Scotland and pure flowing water from the Central Mountains and flowing through the underground rock formations of the primeval forest of Nantou Baowei Mountain, Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Company Nantou Distillery uses the original rich fruit wine resources in the factory and adheres to the tradition of malt whiskey. Traditional brewing technology, combined with exquisite barreling techniques, combines Changhua Bagua Mountain lychees with Taiwanese terroir to launch the world's first lychee barrel single malt whiskey.

"OMAR Original Cask Strength Single Malt Whiskey - Lychee Cask" combines the flavor of bourbon barrel malt whiskey with the sweetness and deliciousness of lychee wine to create the unique local style of Nantou Distillery whiskey. The packaging design is specially hand-painted by famous artists. Teacher Zhang Keqi's work "Wanliduoduo" contains a strong Chinese painting style. The lychee fruits in the painting are densely packed, reflecting the elegant fragrance of the lychee wine barrel, the calm oak aroma and the sweet fruity taste. The oriental hand-painted style brings out the flavor of Taiwan. Flavor barrel whiskey, the three are intertwined, blooming the lingering beauty.

Aroma: The slightly smoked aroma of dried lychees and the sweetness of candied orange peel bring out the malt, vanilla, toffee and rich tropical dried fruit aromas of the bourbon barrel, with a hint of oak barrel flavor.
